GBM Mapping is a low cost platform for delivering integrated database and mapping
services on windows PC systems.
The standard system incorporates a MapInfo MapX GIS window that supports all the common
GIS functions. This is tightly coupled with a range of pre-developed search and
interrogation tools as well as slots for implementing custom database screens or
end-use business logic.
GBM Mapping is ideal for delivering stand-alone mapping capability to a large user base.
End user operation is extremely simple and can be easily customised on site by the local
data administrator.
GBM Mapping provides a strong framework for developing custom mapping applications
due to its modular design and wealth of pre-developed mapping and database access tools.
*** From May 2006, GBM Mapping will be superceeded by GBM Portable. The latter provides all
the features of GBM Mapping with the addition of GBM Mobile style custom data entry forms. GBM Portable
is built on the new MapXtreme .NET framework that has replaced MapInfo MapX.
