GBM Mapping is an ideal framework for delivering mapping services to a large user base.
The system provides core GIS mapping services at a cost per seat that is much lower than
that for installation of multi purpose GIS desktop systems. Training overheads are
significantly lower.
GBM Mapping is ideal for delivering simple mapping applications to a relatively large
user base, especially to users who do not have continuous web connection. It is ideal for
mobile operators.
The product is also favoured for more complex applications and interactive mapping
application that do not present well through web interfaces.
Custom applications based on the GBM Mapping core are used in areas of Occupational
Health and Safety, Tenure Management, Environmental Monitoring and Telecommunications Surveys.
