MapLinker technology is licensed in several ways.
MapLinker
- The standard GeoBasemap MapLinker system comes with a plug-in for MapInfo Professional
as well as the underlying links server. It is targeted at operators of MapInfo Professional
or MapInfo run-time systems that want to hot-link between the GIS and other applications.
GBM Linker
- Implementations that require hot-linking but do not involve MapInfo Professional,
may choose to license only the core GBM Linker technology, without the MapInfo user interface.
- GBM Linker is commonly bundled with custom implementations of the GBM Mapping product.
The combined system delivers linking between GIS maps and custom user dialogs presented by
GBM Mapping, and external programs such as Asset and Maintenance systems.
MapLinker Software Developers Kit
- The GBM Linker SDK supports development of plug-ins for commercial software
applications or those developed in house. The SDK for Microsoft Access development
is included with the standard MapLinker release. A separate kit is available for
mainline programming languages.
The technology can be licensed on a per-operator-seat, per application based or corporate basis.
